Las Lenas, ARGENTINA has some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, excellent powder snow and some of the best après ski nightlife of any resort in South America.

Las Lenas
Las Lenas has terrific skiing and snowboarding terrain across open powder bowls, very steep runs, narrow chutes, cliff drops, wide groomed long trails and beginner runs. The skiing and snowboarding terrain is supported by a fast and efficient lift system that rarely has long queues.
For some challenging advanced skiing and snowboarding head directly to the Marte Chairlift to access the Marte Bowl. The bowl is enormous, it is ungroomed, open, very steep and powder filled. The Vulcano Chairlift also accesses steep fast and ungroomed open terrain.
Intermediates can cruise the entire mountain top to bottom on very long wide groomed trails. The Minerva trails above the village are steep and fast and great fun first thing in the morning after they have been groomed.
Catch the Marte Chairlift which rises to the top of the mountain for an extremely long and rolling run on the groomed Apolo and Neptuno trails back down to the village base.
Beginners stick to the groomed wide lower slopes above the village serviced by the Venus I and Venus II lifts.
Once confidence grows move onto the Vesta Chairlift to access slightly steeper groomed trails leading back down to the village base area.
The Las Lenas Ski and Snowboard School have group and private lessons for all ages and ability levels.
The largest terrain park in South America, the Snowpark Terrain Park has jumps, rails and boxes of varying sizes for all levels of freerider.
The Las Lenas Ski and Snowboard School has freeride lessons available in the Snowpark Terrain Park.

Brian, Seymour, USA, August 2006 If you dream of breath taking vistas, mind blowing powder days and bucket loads of fun stop what you are doing, drop everything and head to Las Lenas in the Andes Mountains. There is a slice of heaven waiting just for you, it is called the Marte chairlift and it transports you directly to the good stuff , basically heli boarding without the heli! No trees here just open powder fields waiting to be carved up. You don't have to be an advanced but the better rider you are the more you get out of it. Just one downside - sometimes it snows so much that the Marte lift actually gets snowed under and they have to dig it out, this can take a few days BUT there is cat boarding available so it's not the end of the world. High winds can also cause Marte to close but again you can go cat boarding or stick to the lower chairs and hike if you get really desperate.
