Getting to Big White Directions
Big White is 35 miles (56 kilometres) southeast of the town of Kelowna. The Kelowna International Airport has connecting flights daily throughout North America. A shuttle bus operates directly from Kelowna International Airport to and from Big White multiple times daily.
The 2008/2009 winter season welcomed the opening of Kelowna International Airport’s new runway. The old runway was extended from 7,300 feet to 8,900 feet meaning international flights no longer have to go via Calgary or Vancouver they can land directly at Kelowna. This cuts international travel times dramatically.
Big White is 273 miles (438 kilometres) from Vancouver about 4 ½ hours drive and 345 miles (553 kilometres) from Seattle about 6 hours drive.
