Winter Park begins construction on North America's Highest Six-Pack Chairlift

This week Winter Park Colorado, began construction on the new "Panoramic Express Chairlift". It is located in the Parsenn Bowl and is set to hoist skiers and snowboarders up to approximately 12,060 feet above sea level making it the highest, high-speed six-pack chairlift in all of North America! Construction has started now while snow is still on the ground to help prevent destruction of native tundra terrain in the summer months.

Currently Winter Park has 233.6 inches of snow and all lifts and trails are open with skiing and snowboarding on packed powder.
