The Remarkables Terrain Park to be Remade

New Zealand: The American terrain park consulting company, Snow Park Technologies, are taking charge of redeveloping The Remarkables terrain park for the up coming 2007 winter season.

The terrain park will be twice the size of last season's Up and Go Terrain Park with bigger jumps, more rails and two 33 meter wide benched jump and rail lines and eleven new snow making guns.

The new redesigned terrain park will improve intermediate and advanced lines with easier shaping by a new Piston Bully PB600 snow groomer that requires less snow than the previous groomers ensuring top line jumps from the start of the season.

Hamish McCrostie the Ski Area Manager for The Remarkables said "It’s exciting to see this area used to its full potential. We attract a young and active group of riders and skiers at The Remarkables and we aim to cater for this loyal market as much as possible. The new terrain park will also provide a fantastic venue for events and competitions during the 2007 winter season."
