Heavy snowfalls in Squaw Valley USA

Squaw Valley USA is known as North America’s Spring Skiing Capital. In true form they received 16 inches of fresh snow last night; skiing and snowboarding conditions are excellent and clear skies and sunshine are forecasted for the coming weekend.

Currently the snow base depth on the lower slopes is 150 inches with the upper slopes having 293 inches. The resort is not due to close until May 2007.
