Subaru Telluride Freeskiing Open

Telluride, Colorado will host the world's best freeskiiers from February 8th til 11th when 60 male and 20 female competitors from around the globe including Canada, USA Argentina, Sweden and France battle it out for the $7,500 winning title.

“We are very excited about the 2007 Subaru U.S. Freeskiing Series, and to be returning to Telluride for a second year,” said Mountain Sports International (MSI) President Adam Comey. “Telluride defines big mountain freeskiing and we’re looking forward to watching these amazing competitors and athletes, sculpt some incredible lines on some of the most difficult terrain in the world.”

Telluride will open terrain outside of the regular ski and snowboard boundaries for the Open with the famed Palmyra Peak being the backdrop as skiers explore the terrain below the Peak. The final run venue will be announced just before the Open begins.
