Burton European Open Update

After poor weather conditions forced delays earlier in the week, the competition at the Burton European Open being held at Laax, Switzerland is back underway again. Today's fierce halfpipe competition saw the top Girl Juniors, Boy Juniors and Boy Youths from around the world battle it out for the biggest airs and tricks in Crap Sogn Gion's superpipe. Results are as follows;

Girls Halfpipe Juniors

Boys Halfpipe Juniors

2. Jan Scherrer SUI
3. Dimi de Jong NED

Currently the Men and Women are in training for the Halfpipe Qualifications due to start tomorrow.

The Burton European Open runs until Sunday 28th January and attracts top international snowboarders from around the globe as well as up and coming future champions. It is Europe's biggest and most important winter snowboarding event featuring halfpipe and slopestyle competitions.

Even though the snow conditions have not been fantastic in Europe, Laax is very well prepared for the Burton European Open with the pipe on Crag Sogn Gion in immaculate condition and the Slopestyle course on the Vorab Glacier looking fantastic.
