3 feet in 3 days at Park City

Park City, Utah have received Christmas early in the shape of 3 feet of fresh powder in just 3 days! The fresh snow has doubled the previous snow depth from 21 inches to the current report of 40 inches mid-mountain.

"This is the biggest storm cycle we'’ve had all season and it arrived just in time to treat our holiday guests to exceptional conditions,"” Peter Curtis, president and general manager of Park City Mountain Resort said. "Our mountain operations team is working overtime to get the entire mountain open."

By Saturday Park City expects to have all 15 lifts open for some serious powder skiing and snowboarding. In addition, the terrain park, named "Terrain Park of the Year"” by Transworld Snowboarding Magazine for the third year in a row, will open as well as the Eagle Superpipe, one of North America'’s largest superpipes.
