New Zealand Season coming to an end

After a very successful season Coronet Peak closed on Monday 2nd October. The Coronet Peak marketing team said "...it was a superb season. We enjoyed excellent winter conditions throughout June, July and August and then went through a dramatic change to full on spring in late August...."

The Remarkables who still have a snow base of 100cm is expected to stay open until the end of the week. Mt Hutt, who have a snow base of 125cm are hoping to remain open until the end of the Labour weekend, 23rd October.
