New Zealand National Snowboard Championships at The Remarkables

The Remarkables will host the New Zealand National Snowboard Championships from Thursday 31st August until Saturday 2nd September.

A New Zealand Snowboarding Association (NZSBA) event and FIS certified competition, it attracts top riders not only locally but from around the globe. The championships kick off with the Boarder-X comp on Thursday 31st followed by the Slopestyle on Friday 1st ending with the Superpipe on Saturday 2nd.

Graham Dunbar, NZSBA Executive Director states "...the FIS certified competition is a crucial part of the New Zealand snowboard calendar and this is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience...Competitors will be working hard to build their F.I.S. points tally which will help them qualify for FIS World Cup, World Championships and eventually the Olympics.”
