Perisher Top Activities

Snow Tubing at Perisher

Hit Tube Town at Perisher for some good times and fast snowtubing. The snowtubing park has specially designed groomed lanes ensuring an exhilarating and bumpy ride down before rope tow lifts transport snow tubers back to the top. Tube Town is located in front of the car park on Mt Piper and is open every day of the week. Tickets cost $6 for 1 ride, $27 for 5 and $44 for 10 rides; snowtubes are provided at no extra cost.

Tobogganing at Perisher

Perisher has a family toboggan slope above the car park on Pipers Ridge. Tobogganing is a terrific and enjoyable introduction to snow for young children with adults enjoying it just as much! The toboggan slope is open daily and toboggans are available for hire at ski equipment rental shops.

Ice Skating at Perisher

The ice skating rink at Perisher is located in-front of the Smiggins Hotel and is open from midday to sunset. Ice skating is entertaining for all ages and costs $15 per adult and $10 per child including skate rental.

Groomer Tours at Perisher

Groomer tours operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays in the Perisher Front Valley with up to four guests experiencing snow grooming first hand. The tours cost $30 per person and depart from the Perisher Valley Hotel at 5pm. The tours are weather dependent.

Guided Mountain Tours

Free guided mountain tours take place every Monday Thursday and Saturday at 10am; experienced mountain hosts meet skiers and snowboarders under the Trail Guide sign at the Mid Station of the Perisher Quad Express Chairlift. The hosts take intermediate level and above skiers and boarders on a full resort tour showing a few hidden secret and favourite powder spots on the way. The mountain hosts are identifiable by their bright green jackets.
