Backcountry kat skiing and snowboarding adventures are free with a valid lift pass at Hotham. Snowriders are transported by an eight seater snow Kat outside the normal resort boundaries to discover secret powder stashes and tight treed terrain. Kat Adventures is weather dependent and only for strong intermediate level and above skiers and snowboarders. Check with guest services each morning to see if the Kat will be in operation.

The return flight cost is $130 per adult – this does not include the cost of a lift pass. Scenic flights are also available starting at $99 per adult for 6 to 10 minutes flying time.
