Vail Accommodation
The charming, cosmopolitan, pedestrian only Vail Village has 32,000 guest beds in all categories of accommodation. The majority of accommodation in Vail Village is in hotels and serviced condominiums.
The Lodge Tower serviced condominiums has a 24 hour front desk and hot tub, and is less than 25 yards to the slopes and in the heart of the shops and restaurants.
The Lion Square Lodge is one of the best lodges in Vail, it is ski in ski out with luxury hotel rooms and 1 & 2 bedroom condominiums, superb service, a heated outdoor pool and free ski valet and service. It is just minutes to restaurants, shops and bars.
The more moderatly priced 9 Vail Road are condominiums with fireplaces and a heated pool and offer quick access to the mountain via the Eagle Bahn Gondola. Vantage Point Condominiums have 2 to 4 bedrooms and are just 300 yards from the slopes.
Vail's Villages :
A free bus service runs throughout the Village and Loinshead and to the nearby surrounding areas of West Vail, East Vail and Golden Peak.
West Vail
West Vail is 5 minutes by bus from the Village and tends to have cheaper accommodation than the Vail Village in lodges, condominiums and hotels. West Vail is where the major grocery stores are as well as limited shops and restaurants.
East Vail
East Vail is small and quiet. Economical accommodation can be found at Pitkin Creek Park Condominiums, just 3 miles from the Village.
Golden Peak
Golden Peak is the eastern most base area and a short bus ride or walk from the main shops and restaurants. The All Seasons condos are well located just 100 yards from the slopes and are reasonably good value for money.
