Verbier Accommodation Review

Verbier is a beautiful authentic Swiss village with accommodation available in hotels, apartments and chalets catering to all levels of budget. As the village is located just below the ski and snowboard area very little accommodation is ski in ski out. Shuttle buses operate frequently throughout the village during the day transporting guests to and from their accommodation to the lift base area.

The 4 star King’s Parc Hotel has deluxe one and two bedroom suites with separate living rooms and private balconies with mountain views. The hotel has an in-house restaurant, a lounge bar and cocktail bar, room service and a breakfast buffet. King’s Parc has wireless internet, a babysitting service, a heated ski and snowboard storage room, a shuttle bus service to and from the lift base area and a day spa. The hotel is a short walk from the lift base area and Verbier’s many shops and restaurants.

The 4 star Hotel Nevai has modern rooms and suites with plush bedding, i-pod docking stations, flat screen televisions and designer toiletries. The hotel has an in-house restaurant and bar, room service, business centre, village shuttle bus and a day spa with a swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath and massage and beauty treatments. The Hotel Nevai is centrally located just steps from the lift base area.

The 3 star Central Hotel Verbier has single, double and family rooms with mini bars, Jacuzzis, bathrobes, plasma televisions and stunning mountain views. The hotel has a bar, ski and snowboard storage, wireless internet and is a short walk to the lift base area. A full cooked breakfast is included in an overnight stay.

The 3 star Hotel Ermitage Verbier is next to the tourist office in the middle of the Verbier village. The hotel has single and double rooms and a two bedroom serviced apartment that sleeps up to 6 guests with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge room and terrace. The hotel has a daily buffet breakfast, a communal lounge, wireless internet, free onsite car parking and a heated ski and snowboard storage room. The Hotel Ermitage has a shuttle bus stop out the front running to and from the lift base area every 5 minutes.

The Bunker Verbier Backpackers has unique underground ‘atomic bunker style’ accommodation. The underground bunker has 132 bunk beds in five dormitory rooms, communal bathrooms and a café. The hostel also has an above ground summer house which is part of the Verbier Sports Centre it can sleep twenty eight guests.

Verbier has many self-catering apartments available to rent; most are centrally located and sleep from two to ten guests with fully equipped kitchens, lounge rooms and mountain views. Staying in an apartment can be quite economical as you have your own kitchen eliminating the expense of dining out every night.

The Apartment Panossiere Medran Verbier Centre has four bedroom apartments 80 meters from the lift base area. The apartments have spacious living rooms, dining rooms, fully equipped kitchens and private balconies. A ski and snowboard storage room is onsite as is private car parking and wireless internet.

Chalet Aneto has five bedrooms and three bathrooms over three floors of luxurious accommodation. The chalet, a short walk from the lift base area, has a fully equipped kitchen, open plan dining and living room with a fireplace, private balcony and an outdoor hot tub. Renters at Chalet Aneto can choose to self-cater or be fully catered for with breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner provided every night.
