Flims Laax Falera Accommodation
Flims, Laax and Falera are three separate villages. Flims is the largest and most popular Village with the main ski lift base station and the majority of shops, restaurants, bars and accommodation. Laax is a small village with mid mountain access and limited shops and accommodation. Falera is a small traditional rural alpine village best suited for quiet family holidays.
The three villages are linked by a frequently running free Arena Shuttle bus. Accommodation is available in hotels, bed and breakfasts and apartments for all levels of budget.
Accommodation at Flims
The 4 star Swisshotel is just steps away from the lift base station. It has luxurious rooms an in-house restaurant, a day spa and a communal lounge and bar.
The 3 star Hotel Bellevue has modern rooms and suites, four in-house gourmet restaurants and is 150 meters from the lift base station.
The 2 star Casa Las Caglias has nine double rooms all with small kitchenettes. The complex is built on a cliff edge looking towards the mountains giving magnificent views. The Arena Shuttle bus stops close by.
The 1 star Guesthouse Guardaval has single and double rooms, hearty breakfasts and is close to the Village centre. The Arena Shuttle bus stops close by.
Accommodation at Laax
The ultra modern and popular Riders Palace is only 50 meters from the Laax lift base station. It has both bunk rooms and double rooms with ensuites and LCD televisions. A light breakfast is included in an overnight stay package.
Like the Riders Palace the 4 star Hotel Laaxerhof is only 50 meters from the Laax base station. The deluxe hotel has an in-house restaurant, lounge room, bar and fitness centre with an indoor swimming pool and spa.
The 2 star Garni Cathomen is a family run guesthouse in Laax Dorf. It has bunk rooms that sleep four guests and double and single rooms. The Arena Shuttle bus stops very close by for easy transport to the Laax base station.
The 1 star Backpacker Deluxe Hotel Capricorn is a short walk or one Arena Shuttle bus stop ride from the Laax base station. It has accommodation in double rooms with ensuites and dormitories with shared bathroom facilities. The hostel has internet access, breakfast provided and a popular bar.
Accommodation at Falera
The 3 star Hotel La Siala in the lovely Village of Falera is in an old building with tastefully decorated one and two bedroom rooms. It has an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gourmet in-house restaurant.
Flims, Laax and Falera have apartments available to rent through rental companies or private owners. They can sleep from 2 to 8 guests with most being centrally located with full kitchens and ski rooms. Staying in an apartment is often cheaper than staying in a hotel as guests have their own cooking facilities.
