Davos Accommodation
The vibrant and cosmopolitan town of Davos stretches along the valley from Klosters; the long central main street begins in Davos Dorf (the eastern end) and runs into the central main town area of Davos Platz (the western end) and is littered with a wide array of hotels, rental apartments, shops, bars and restaurants.
For those lucky enough to be able to afford it there are two five star hotels in Davos, the Fluela Hotel and the Steigenberger Belvedere Hotel which both have exceptional rooms and outstanding service.
There are well over forty four star and three star hotels in the town, the three star family run Bahnhof-Terminus Hotel has small exceptionally clean rooms and a welcoming atmosphere as well as great food and is centrally located opposite the Jakobshorn ski and snowboard area.
The Hotel Herrmann is a comfortable two star hotel with views from the terraces and traditional Swiss meals while the Bolgenschanze Hotel is a snowboard hostel that offers basic bunk rooms with shared facilities at very reasonable rates, it is well located within 50 meters of Jakobshorn.
Self catering apartments are available for rent through rental companies and private owners at Davos. The apartments are generally all centrally located sleeping anywhere from two to ten guests and are an economical choice of accommodation as you have your own cooking facilities.
