Davos Accommodation
The vibrant and cosmopolitan town of Davos is nestled into a valley surrounded by towering mountain peaks.
The Davos main street begins in Davos Dorf (the eastern end of the valley) and runs through the central main town area of Davos Platz (the western end of the valley).
The lengthy main street is littered with a wide array of hotels, rental apartments, shops, bars and restaurants.
Davos has two 5 star hotels; the Fluela Hotel and the Steigenberger Belvedere Hotel both having exceptional rooms and outstanding service.
The 4 star Waldhotel Davos has luxurious rooms and suites. The hotel has an in-house restaurant and bar, an indoor swimming pool and health and fitness centre.
The 3 star family run Bahnhof-Terminus Hotel has small comfortable rooms. The hotel is centrally located opposite Jakobshorn and has a welcoming atmosphere and excellent food. It is a half board hotel meaning breakfast and dinners are included in the price of an overnight stay.
The 2 star Hotel Herrmann has serviced rooms with views from the terraces and traditional Swiss meals.
The Bolgenschanze Hotel is a snowboard hostel that offers basic bunk rooms with shared facilities at very reasonable rates. It is well located within 50 meters of the Jakobshorn base area.
Self catering apartments are available for rent through rental companies and private owners at Davos. The apartments are generally all centrally located sleeping anywhere from 2 to 10 guests and are an economical choice of accommodation as guests have their own cooking facilities.
