The ski in ski out Plump Jack Squaw Valley Inn is located at the base of the Cable Car. It offers luxurious accommodation in king bed hotel rooms and two bedroom suites. The inn has an award winning in-house restaurant, buffet daily breakfasts, wireless internet, concierge service, ski and snowboard storage, two hot tubs and is pet friendly.
The ski in ski out Squaw Valley Lodge has deluxe studio apartments and 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condominiums with fully equipped kitchens, dining and large living areas with gas fireplaces and private balconies.
The Olympic Village Inn once housed many of the competitors in the 1960 Winter Olympics held at Squaw Valley. It is a five minute walk to Squaw Valley Village or a quick free shuttle bus ride. The Inn has cosy two roomed suites with queen beds, kitchenettes and separate living areas. Guests have access to a communal lounge and full kitchen, games room, bbq area, outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tubs.
The main downside to the accommodation in the Village is that it can be very expensive in peak times. Tahoe City is just 8 miles down the road from Squaw Valley USA and tends to have cheaper accommodation in hotels, motels and lodges. Regular shuttle buses operate to and from Tahoe City to Squaw Valley throughout the day in the winter season.
